Mental Health with Training & Recovery
There is an unspoken need of focus on mental health and holistic wellness in the process of healing, building self-worth in training, and developing a healthy balance of both perseverance and gentleness in recovery. As a former Division 1 rower, my own relationship with athletics and wellness has evolved through experience with injuries, Physical recovery and then intrinsic healing. The power of embodiment awareness and clinical therapy skillfully connected can be transformational to to an athlete's performance, efficacy of mind-set, and vitality of emotional health after injuries.
Connection with athletes or coaches, team or fitness leaders, will all benefit from trauma-sensitive approaches for group or personal growth. Mental health awareness is pivotal in these elite physically and emotionally challenging environments, as are strategies to maintain, regulate and nervous system support through embodiment practices from internal and external stressors.

Earth-informed Expressive Arts
We will identify innate creativity with strengths-based approaches to develop modalities of processing, reflecting and communication. We will explore themes of patterns found in nature, seasonal trends and lessons we can learn from the land for functionality and adaptation. Alongside the items we may collect or borrow from the earth, we can honor connection of integral parts of the self to the external ecosystems we are working within. Creativity through incorporating elements of nature can inspire and encourage space to foster self-acceptance, explore and welcome all experiences and whatever feeling travels with each moments.

Natured-based Play & Connection
Natural beings teach us resilience, the ability to adapt and inner-dependence on one another. The living world continues to have so many themes of connection- from the mycelium pathways deep below, to the intermingling branches of trees and the shadows of shade created by the sun. We will engage with elements of the nature world to create narratives. problem solve, build connection and empathy; through the development of reciprocity from us to the littlest slug to the largest tree, all stakeholders contributing to the community we are all part of.

Wisdom Guided Mindfulness
Exploring surrounding environment that is intentionally determined based on focus of session. Perhaps our goal is to become more connected to a familiar and consistently visited area in order to practice attunement and mindfulness around your neighborhood. Or maybe we visit a park that is accessible near your place of work to practice a bit of mindfulness for your daily walk by it. We will honor lessons and philosophies from Elder Naturalists, Yogic Philosophy and Psychological Ideologies to discover aspects of mindfulness that resonate within.
