Session Guidelines

What does a session look like?

Depending on which programming you are inquiring about, This can differ depending on the offering you choose.

Each offering is tailored specifically to meet the audience of the intended programming. Through an initial consult conversation we (or the caregiver and Laura) will outline themes, focus and hopes for session(s). Multiple sessions planned will have continuous oppournties for collaborative feedback to support integration.

Review this checklist below to ensure you have what you need to be comfortable for our session.

Before your appointment

  • You will receive a check in call to confirm our session.

  • Please share any restrictions, questions, or limitations that you feel is important for me to know prior to our session. Do not hesitate to reach out!

  • Things happen; if you need to re-schedule, kindly communicate this 6 hours in advance. This helps create flexibility for other sessions & space for planning!

  • Please ensure you have signed and return the waiver you received after our phone consultation.

  • Review this checklist below to ensure your have what you need to be comfortable for our session.

For your session

  • Whether working inside or outside, bring water to drink and a snack.

  • Bring whatever you need to support your learning, energy and physical needs.

  • Wear comfortable clothing and bring a extra layer.

  • If something is not working or uncomfortable for you in the moment, let me know! This helps continued growth and learning when meeting together.

  • We will check-in around arrival to connect with what theme and experience feels important for our session.

  • Sessions tend to be at least 75 minutes. Fees will vary based on content.

  • Please be aware that if we are meeting in a public and physical environment there are factors (i.e. weather, sounds of traffic or other beings, conditions, visibility of session) that are out of this practice’s control. We will work together to navigate these experiences and plan accordingly.
