Workshops & Gatherings

Psychotherapy comes from the Greek words "psyche" & "therapies", roughly translating into "soul care". Using integrative therapeutic modalities, practices of meditation to promote nervous system regulation and trauma-sensitive yogic movement.

A workshop will cater to areas of need for the group using integrative therapeutic modalities, practices of meditation to promote nervous system regulation and trauma-sensitive yogic movement. Internal and external reflection with opportunity to be in community with other like-minded people.

Anyone can benefit from taking care of their nervous system: intensive roles such as medical and school staff, high performance athletes, or those impacted by high stakes moments will develop attunement and connection to their needs.

  • Sitting with the Seasonal Shifts

In rhythm with the seasons offerings, we will move slowly to connect to the beauty and wisdom of the moment. Explore patterns and narratives in nature such as the weather, the time of day, season of the year. Incorporating elements of Ayurveda, the "science of life", and following guidance from nature to support mental health and promote balance. Offerings linked to seasons and or in preparation for transitions.

  • Nourishing Yoga Practices

Identify inner resilience, Stress Management and develop radical care routines for self-preservation. we will identify and attune to a focus of need in order to empower nervous system support, self-care practices and somatic attunement. Anyone can benefit from taking care of their nervous system as our society fixates on always “doing the most” and achievement. Anyone who is impacted by high stakes moment or those who are curious to turn inwards, will develop attunement and connection to their needs in an intentionally curated therapeutically inspired yoga practice.

  • Art Earth Initiative

Learning from items found in nature, we will create art influenced by expressive arts modalities to connect with something bigger than ourselves. Re-purposing and re-using materials can bring a whole new perspective. We will become aware of patterns of introspection through our gathering, activity and reflection.

  • Urban Herb-ing

Not everyone has safe and accessible green spaces or an abundance of land to walk with the ability to move freely in an outdoor space.  Wherever our group decides to meet, we will become aware of the environment’s bounty, and find anchors for grounded-ness despite a city’s bustle. Noticing a dandelion peeking through a sidewalk on your noisy city, or caring for a prorogating vine, can foster the development of pathways of connection. There is so much beauty and abundance in patches of green in a city, in a planter box or through connecting with a tree; so let’s take a look and turn inward together.

  • Connection Circles

There are multiple ancient circles that are used in rituals of healing, community and interconnectedness. Perhaps your agency is in need of connecting in a different way, maybe you are interested in a neutral third party holding space in a group, or a hive of like minded people who hope to connect and celebrate over something special. Using elements of Restorative Justice, and therapeutic modalities a space will be created in which one feel's held. Practices of gathering can also promote connection, foster belonginess and build empathy in community.

  • Holistic Care for Space Holders

Intensive roles such as medical and school staff, anyone who is impacted by high stakes moments subconsciously hold space. Healers, body workers and clinicians may more consciously hold space. Obtain support and ease amongst fellow and health and wellness care professionals. Perhaps your specific community would benefit from having a psychoeducation lessons about practices that can be engrained into your culture, or would prefer a curated meditative and yogic experience.
